Winfield Youth Basketball Tournament Sponsored by Providence Bank

A Winfield 4th-8th grade Basketball Tournament will be held February 11-12, 2017.

  • Boys and Girls Teams
  • Bracket will be determined by the number of teams in the tournament.
  • $60.00 per team
  • Concessions will be available
  • Medals for 1st and 2nd place teams
  • Two gyms available if necessary
  • Money is due by February 3rd and is non-refundable
  • Vendors will be in the in the commons during the games
  • Cost to attend:  $3 for adults and $2 for children 3-10  (good for the entire day)

Kai Rogers Wins Wrestling Title

With two pins and an 8-2 victory against Fort Zumwalt South's Jake Kiethline last weekend at Fort Zumwalt East, Rogers (22-0) became the first Winfield wrestler to win a Gateway Athletic Conference tournament title. A 138-pound senior who has qualified for state three times, Rogers placed sixth in Class 2 as a sophomore at 120. He’s currently ranked first at 138 by rankwrestlers.com and second behind Benton’s Jordan Shewmaker by missouriwrestling.com.
