ThriVe

Dear Parents/Guardian,

As part of an on-going commitment to provide a safe and healthy environment for our youth, ThriVe® St. Louis will be presenting a school-based abstinence curriculum for grades 9th-12th. The program is designed to teach your student about the benefits of healthy relationships, boundaries, behaviors, and establishing life goals. The Best ChoiceSM material provides medically accurate, culturally sensitive information and activities to young people at a critical time in their development. Topics include risky behaviors, sexual integrity, brain function, STD’s, healthy choices, sexual abstinence, renewed abstinence, and more. Only age-appropriate material will be presented to each grade level.

Letters were sent home last week October 15th. If you do not give permission have your student bring back the signed letter check marked on that line or please send your own letter stating that you do not give permission for your student to participate in this program. 9th and 10th grade this week, and 11th and 12th grade next week.

Thank you, Winfield High School
